I am an experienced researcher, public speaker, and presenter. I have appeared as a guest presenter in two History Hit programmes, Richard the Lionheart’s Castle: Château Gaillard, and Agincourt: The Real Story, in which I worked with Dr. Michael Livingstone onsite in Normandy.

I was the Joint Lead Course Designer with Professor Anne Curry for the Agincourt 1415: Myth and Reality MOOC (massive open online course), run as a partnership between the University of Southampton and FutureLearn. My work on the project included having the unusual opportunity to fire a replica fifteenth century cannon at the Royal Armouries artillery museum at Fort Nelson!

I have many years of experience working with medieval records and am well versed in carrying out archival research at The National Archives in Kew and other archives across the UK. My expertise in identifying, translating and analysing original historical sources makes me an excellent consultant for project work. I have extensive experience, in particular, of financial documents written in Latin, Middle English, and Norman French.
